Radu and I watched the VMAs together. They started at 4 a.m. here, in Romania, and we haven’t slept all night, but I think I speak in the name of both us when I say that it was worth it. It was great! Great performances, great winners and the new “New Moon” trailer š What more can you ask? It could have been perfect if Lady Gaga‘s performance wouldn’t have been so damn weird and if a certain moron wouldn’t have ruined Taylor Swift‘s acceptance speech.

So, the show started with Madonna introducing the Michael Jackson Tribute. She gave an awesome speech and the tribute itself was simply amazing! As far as the performances go, loved Taylor Swift‘s “You Belong to Me” and the whole subway thing. Also, Beyonce rocked the stage! Green Day, meh, not impressed. Pink – awesome! She must have practiced a lot to do those circus thingys. Lady Gaga… don’t even know what to say… I like her songs, she has a good voice, but that woman has serious problems! Muse also gave a great performance. And the final act, Jay Z and Alicia Keys, meh… I loved the little videos with Eminem and Tracy Morgan introducing the Best New Act.
Now… The incident everyone will talk about for a long time, another extremely inappropriate scene from “the one and only” Kanye West! I say “the one and only” because I don’t think there is someone else in the world as idiot as he is. I’m really sorry, Andrada, I know you like him. I must admit, some of his songs are really nice, but, boy, he’s such a douch!!! In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, let me clarify things for you. Sweet 19 years old Taylor Swift won her first moonman, for Best Female Video and in the middle of her acceptance speech that moron got up on stage and interrupted her, saying that Beyonce should have won :|:|:| Duuuuude, what is your problem?!? Imagine poor Taylor just standing there shocked, as the jackass stole her moment. And Beyonce being totally embarrassed! … Fortunately, Beyonce is such a lady! In the end, as she received the award for Video of the Year, she invited Taylor on stage to give her speech. What a nice thing to do! Congrats, Bey! Oh and, by the way, what Kanye learned today is that karma is a bitch. He didn’t win a thing!
